This deluxe, black 20'' incandescent hood is built to last and maintain its good looks. Safe - all electrical parts are shielded from moisture and corrosion. The lights have an internally mounted ballast with an instant start circuit and an aluminum radiator allows ballast to operate cooler and increases life of unit. Hood has replaceable plastic backstrips which can be easily cut to accommodate heaters and filters. The front access door runs the entire length of the aquarium and built in undergravel filter holes are sealed until needed. Special locator pins adapt hood to fit most any brand of tank.
